Subvendors are organizations that provide services to other organizations on the platform. The team inbox is where a subvendor will receive jobs from a specific client.
Team Inbox Email address
You need to specify an email address that will serve as your point of contact for buyers, such as info@mycompany.com.
Buyers will invite this email address to their teams, allowing them to place orders for your services.
However, the Inbox Email itself does not act independently—it is only a connection. You must link it to a team on your side that will manage incoming requests.
How the process works:
When a buyer places an order using the Inbox Email, all users in your incoming team with the "Revisions" permission will receive the request and can take ownership of it. Once accepted, they can create subrevisions, which function as nested workflow steps.
These nested workflow steps can then be assigned to your freelancers or vendors, ensuring a structured and efficient delegation process.
Buyers will not have access to your vendor data like names or email addresses. This information is not shared with stakeholders further up the production chain. Where relevant, such as in reports, email addresses are anonymized and displayed as 'Anonymous User.'
