A in termbase.io is a database or repository that contains a collection of terms and their definitions, usually within a specific field. There are three ways to create termbases with termbase.io : by adding terms directly.

- Then, you can begin adding terms manually by clicking on .
- Select the language information of your termbase.
- Then, select the to start entering your terms.
- Enter the term, add translations, and provide any additional information such as definitions or context as needed.

after each entry to ensure your terminology is properly recorded.
Creating a termbase using Termfactory in termbase.io allows you to automatically build terminology from your existing translations.
- Enter the of the termbase and optionally add a description. Then, Click on to create the termbase.
- Once your termbase is created, click on its name.
- Click on , in the upper left corner
- Add the languages of your termbase.
- Click on to save the languages of your termbase.
- Navigate to in the top menu bar and select to view your translated documents.
- Find the translated document you want to build terminology from.
- Click on . This button is located under the column on the right side of the job list.
- The status of the extraction process will be displayed in the column. Wait until the process status changes to .
- Once the status is marked as , click on the name of your document to access the newly built terminology.
- The terminology will be displayed, ordered allowing you to easily identify the most relevant terms.
- You can create tags and assign them to terms in order to filter and structure your terminology. To do so, click on .
If you have not selected the terminology associated with any tag, .
- Select the option "to continue. The terminology that you send to a termbase will desapear from the import.
- Select the existing termbase to which you want to add the terms
- Click to finalize the addition of the terms.
- Click to be redirected to your updated termbase and see the added terminology.
Importing a termbase in termbase.io allows you to quickly incorporate existing terminology data into your resources. : Enter a name for the new termbase, add an optional description, and click .
- Navigate to by clicking on it in the top bar.
- Select from the menu options.
- Click on .
- Choose and select .
- Enter a name for the import, then select your file for import.
- Click to start the import and then open the document.
- The imported terminology will be displayed for review.
- Select an existing termbase to add the imported terms.
- Click to finalize the addition of the terms to the selected termbase.
- Click to view your termbase.
