DeepL

What is possible when using DeepL to pretranslate documents?
  • DeepL provides high-quality machine translation with a strong base accuracy. While the system cannot be retrained, its default translations are highly reliable.
  • You can connect DeepL to your terminology, ensuring that the correct terminology is applied automatically for consistent and contextually accurate results. DeepL supports terminology inflection, what means it allows to change the number and grammar of terms to fit your translation.

Modern MT

What is possible when using Modern MT to pretranslate documents?
  • ModernMT features a Machine Translation Quality Estimation (MTQE) score, which indicates how accurately the machine believes the text has been translated. This score functions similarly to a fuzzy match score, making it useful for evaluating translation quality within your processes.
  • By connecting your translation memories to ModernMT, the quality of machine translation is enhanced in real time, ensuring that the system learns and adapts to your specific preferences and past translations.
  • Terminology support in Modern MT does not account for word inflections.
