termbase.io allows organizations to configure third-party integrations at the organization level. This is particularly useful for defining storage buckets where your data is stored. Only admins with the necessary "Integrations" permissions can modify these settings.
 termbase.io is designed as a decentralized storage platform ( see more ), allowing you to explicitly define where your file data is stored. Once a storage bucket is defined, all teams within the organization will use this bucket as the default storage location. This means that any resources created in teams that belong to that organization's will save files in this designated bucket.
To configure an AWS S3 bucket, provide the following details:

 termbase.io is designed as a decentralized storage platform, allowing you to explicitly define where your database text data is stored. The database text data includes, for example:
- Translation segments
- Copywriting data
- Terminology
- Translation Memories
Currently, database integrations are managed by the  termbase.io team, as connection data is securely stored in a key vault. If you need to change the database shard, please contact the  termbase.io team. 
Machine translation integrations defined on organization level will be deprecated in the future.
To integrate DeepL into your workflow:
- Click on your name in the top-right corner of the screen to open the menu.
- Select from the dropdown.
- Locate the section.
- Toggle the switch to enable it.
- Choose if you have a CAT Tool subscription.
- Otherwise, select .
- Input your DeepL API key in the provided field.
- Click to confirm and enable the integration.
To integrate ModernMT into your workflow:
- Click on your name in the top-right corner to open the menu.
- Select from the dropdown.
- Locate the section.
- Toggle the switch to enable it.
- Input your ModernMT API key in the designated field.
- Click to apply the integration.
